Hi, I’m selling my reissue Les Paul, built in the Gibson Custom Shop in . I have owned this guitar from new and taken good care of it. It’s in great condition and as it came out of the factory – no mods. It features Gibson’s lovely Custombucker pickups, which I really like. The original hard case, certificate of authenticity and tags are all included. The guitar weighs about 8.5lb and sounds glorious. The neck is a comfortable 'C' shape - a little more refined than the older '59 reissues. The action is about 1.5mm on the low E and 1mm at the high E (12th fret), with no buzz at all. This is a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Special Reissue Faded Cherry VOS. Features: period-correct solid mahogany Les Paul-style body nickel hardware and lightweight aluminum wraparound tailpie 24 ¾-inch scale length neck crafted from one piece of mahogany headstock with Holly veneer long neck tenon 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays single-ply crème binding Gibson’s traditional ’50s rounded neck profile (on this example it is less rounded) period-correct CTS pots and bumble bee capacitors standard 2 volume, 2 tone knob setup, and three-way selector switch period-correct white button tuners Faded Cherry V.O.S. finish standard Gibson Custom Shop case and certificate of authenticity. The guitar is light (7.8 lbs) and has a very comfortable ' C neck profile. This Custom Shop Les Paul Special is near mint apart from just a few light marks here and there. The most noticable ones are shown in the last few photos. Still, this Custom Shop Les Paul Special feels and looks like new. No issues at all. COA, original HSC and all original case candy included. This is a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Special Reissue Faded Cherry VOS. With the latest Custom Shop specs. Wonderful woodgrain. New and unused. Features: period-correct solid mahogany Les Paul-style body nickel hardware and lightweight aluminum wraparound tailpiece 24 ¾-inch scale length neck crafted from one piece of mahogany headstock with Holly veneer long neck tenon 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays single-ply crème binding Gibson’s traditional ’50s rounded neck profile (on this example it is less rounded) period-correct CTS pots and bumble bee capacitors standard 2 volume, 2 tone knob setup, and three-way selector switch period-correct white button tuners Faded Cherry V.O.S. finish standard Gibson Custom Shop case and certificate of authenticity. Near mint and no issues at all apart from one very tiny ding. I have also noticed one tiny blemish (in the top layer of the finish only not in the wood), it's near the strap button and its size is ca. 5x5mm. These two marks are shown in the last two photos and are due to handling as the guitar really is not used. Unless you are really looking for these marks, they are hardly visible. I would say the condition of the guitar is 9.7 out of 10. The guitar is light (7.8 lbs) and has a very comfortable ' C neck profile. No swaps at all, sorry. No offers, thank you. Greetings, Previously owned by an important band's guitar player (have to respect their wish and keep it a low profile), this is one hell of an instrument. First, because of its history, second because it features Real ebony and not last because it's a Custom Shop creation. The top on this guitar is a true admiration for me. It seems like plain top but under certain light angle it assumes that tight and deep flame. Killer! The neck is straight, there's minimal fret wear. All the electronics and finish are original. No breaks, no repairs, no modifications. Original hard shell case in used but good condition included! Detailed description of the item below: Headstock: Clean, one ding on the front corner and one ding on the back. Neck: Solid, no breaks, no repairs, no alterations. The Real ebony board is clean and there are no cracks, the frets show virtually no wear and the neck is straight. Typical Rounded Neck profile just as any Les Paul Custom from the era. Body: Clean overall, light surface scratches on the back plus a few insignificant and finish-only dings, various surface dings around the input jack area but nothing through the finish. The top is mostly clean with light dings here and there but hard to notice as they match the color and they are not through the finish.
