£ p+p.....2 x eurycantha calcarata giant spiney stick insects,a lovely species of stick insect to own,they are just like dark mahogany when fully grown and shiny,the male and female are both quite large,the male has two spines on his back legs though,which you need to be aware of,when scared he will raise his tail and bring his back legs together and can draw blood if succesfull,i always pick my males up behind their front four legs,rather like a crab on the beach...mine are all home bred and in a lovely condition,they live on mainly ivy and bramble,and i spray the leafs daily as they love a good drink of water.....ONCE PICKED UP AND PLACED ON TO YOUR HAND THEY ARE FINE IN MY EXPERIENCE IT SEEMS THAT WHEN YOU GO TO GRAB THEM THEY TRY TO DEFEND THEMSELVES,PLEASE NOTE I CARE ABOUT MY CRITTERS AND ONLY POST OUT BY FIRST CLASS POSTAGE,PLUS I POST OUT FROM MONDAY TO THURSDAY AS I DON`T LIKE TO RISK THE WEEKEND POST >>>>> Read More
