A very comfortable all round saddle! Ideally suited to a horse with a medium wither and broad back. Used for three months (my horse fractured her pedal bone and is now a brood mare) there is the usual girth and stirrup marks, plus a small scratch on the right hand side panel as shown in the last photo. The saddle has been marked by the Staffordshire Police and is made up of a series of numbers and letters near the girth strap. Monarch Jumping Saddle VSJ 17.5" adjustable gullet

Lovely saddle for sale. It is being sold at a reduced price due to having had a couple of repairs on the saddle flaps at the bottom due to the leather coming away and going loose. It's in very good condition other than that and it is just cosmetic. I have no idea what gullet it has in it's a black gullet. I brought it had the repairs done and have never used it as I brought my mare the GP monarch instead. Excellent condition gfs xch black gp saddle 17inch Bought this from a friend who had it from new. She's given up riding and my mare is in foal so it's surplus to requirements! It has hardly done any work at all! Someone will grab a bargain and will be very pleased with this beautiful saddle. It is fitted with the latest XCH system. Takes series 1 gullets and they are available from narrow to extra wide. Saddle is fitted with a wide gullet but I have an X wide if preferred. Tried to show everything in the pictures - it has a feint mark on each side where I let someone borrow it who wore wellies under waterproof trousers so it rubbed it very slightly! I was gutted but that's what happens when you try and help someone by lending them something!!! It will probably fade completely once it gets used properly. This really is a lovely saddle.
