A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by GFS/Fieldhouse. The saddle measures 17" from stud to cantle, 9.5 inches between the D rings and 5.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There is a bit of surface cracking to the leather on the saddle flaps and the gfs badge is missing on the off side but otherwise a very nice saddle in good condition.

USED GFS Fieldhouse BLACK leather GP saddle ". This is a very nice saddle with a comfortable seat position. The D - D rings measurement is 8 1/2" and the internal gullet measures front 3 1/4" Middle 1 3/4" and back 1 1/4". It is showing some signs of wear at the cantle and pommel but does not effect its use. Also there are two indentation marks on the seat which is not visual when in use along with two small scratch marks.

GFS Fieldhouse Close Contact GP Saddle 17" Black Wide fit

Selling for a friend. This is a very versatile, comfortable GP saddle in nice condition. Not quite sure of its age but there are no particular signs of wear apart from a tiny bit of fading on the top of the cantle and a bit of "wrinkling" on the pommel. It had three very sound girth straps with buckle guards each side plus webbing to add a point strap if required. It measures 10" from D to D and has moulded panels for a close contact fit on a wider horse. It is also not particularly forward cut, possibly to suit a big shoulder.
