But you can keep it under control if he gets groomed He is a large dog and can reach items on kitchen worktops. I.e If there's food on the side he will have it if you're not in the room. Helping to rehome my mother in laws dog. She is unable to keep him due to ill health and him not getting the attention or excercise he needs. We have tried rescues but no luck. He's a lovely bouncy boy, and he is very good with children although they should be steady on their feet as he doesn't realise how big he is. He has lived with cats but other cats may need introducing to him. He is a typical German Shepherd in that he is very strong on the lead and needs a firm hand to guide him, he is good off lead and he will happily find the biggest stick he can and carry it around all walk. He has been castrated, and has had no medical issues in the past or that we know of. He really is a sweet natured dog, loves to play. He hates fireworks and thunderstorms and just wants to cuddle you when they're going on. He is protective of his house and the people in it. He is good with young children as I have a almost 2 year old and 5 year old he just loves to play. Unfortunately our beautiful 9 month old German shepherd / husky Cross is up for sale. His name is Mars and he is such an amazing dog but unfortunately due to a relationship breakdown I am unable to give him the time and attention he needs. He is in perfect health, he has been castrated, he's up to date on his flea and worm treatment and all vaccinations. Last time we were at the vets (for his castration a few weeks ago) he was weighed at 35kg. I have only had him just over a month and I really want to find a home that he can live at forever. He has so much love to give and loves attention and is great with kids (he adores my 6 year old daughter).
