Hi everyone! My name is BooBoo and I have so much love to give to that special someone. I have a family now which I absolutely adore but they have had to make the hard decision to give me another chance with another family. It makes me sad but I know they are doing the right thing. Let me tell you all about me.... I am a very big Black German shepherd and am about 18 months old now. I have long hair that everyone just loves to ruffle. I pretend it embarrasses me but secretly I love it. I love to be with people and greet everyone with a big wag of my tail. When you sit down I just have to have a smell and touch your nose. It can be pretty scary but my mummy at the moment has it under control. Sometimes everything goes a little dark and I can feel my body shake a little. I've hurt myself a couple of times. Loki is a beautiful, soft loving dog, brilliant with children of all ages, other dogs and cats. Very gentle when taking treats and knows all of his commands. HOWEVER in the 18 months that Loki has been with us, he has been unable to stay alone for more than a short period of time without getting himself into a state psychologically. As a result of this he has been going to a dog sitter whilst my partner was working. A change to her hours makes it near enough impossible to fund and get him to and from the dog sitters every day. Loki will need to be rehomed with a family who will only be leaving him for short periods of time, or anyone who is home most of the day every day looking for a companion (ie someone who is retired.) Loki is fully house trained, is up to date with all his vaccinations, flea and worming treatment and microchipped. He is unneutered but if this was an issue we would happily have him neutered prior to rehoming. We would prefer if we were able to keep in touch with his new owners to ensure that he is happy and healthy. Loki is fantastic off the lead and returns immediately when called.
