George is our cute Maltese x Yorkshire Terrier boy who is looking for his forever home. George took on the role of protector with his previous owner who readily admits that she 'babied' him and unfortunately the upset of moving has only increased this issue which manifests itself with him lunging and barking at people and other animals that approach when he is walking on a lead. He also likes to guard the home from visitors he doesn't know - although he has already shown major improvement in that area. Once George gets to know you he is an extremely affectionate boy who loves to curl up with you for cuddles. He is fully housetrained, knows the basic commands and he does walk lovely on lead (when there is no-one approaching). George needs an adult only home with no pets and people who are willing to continue with his re-training with our support, people who are going to be 100% dedicated to helping him understand that it is not his role to protect and wont give up on him as his issues are in no way an instant fix.
