Rare s Plastic Sewing Box – genuine vintage for Retro fans. A great original sewing box in white plastic with a 60s purple lid. It measures approx 45cm tall x 26cm across. Great condition. Inside is a removable tray with 4 compartments - 2 with spindles for your cottons and 2 plain for other bits & pieces. Then there is plenty of room underneath the tray for larger items. Rare Chinese sewing box c. Beautiful ornate design

Here we have a wonderfully decorated metal sewing box that was found inside the bottom of an old cabinet. When we took it out It was covered in dust and debris and once cleaned off revealed a beautiful ornate pattern in black and gold. It looks like once having a lock on the front which has been removed. In each corner there looks like animal feet, a very unusual and heavy item at 4Ibs in weight.
