The pull out chair guest bed and desk areas are interchangeable so can be swapped to the other side of the ladder if required It's a really solid bed that can accommodate a tall child to teens - Stompa recommend that the child be 6 yrs old or over if using a High Sleeper bed for obvious safety reasons. Naturally there are some signs of wear and tear, but generally in very good condition and has plenty of years’ use left in it. Mattress not included, fits Scandinavian size single mattress (i.e. IKEA). Foam pieces for sofa bed cushions are included and in good condition but will need re-covering.
