An impending move has prompted the sale of this much loved item. The pram completely and easily dismantles into parts (wheels, frame (with handle folding in), and cot) allowing it to fit into even a small hatch back car. The pram has the patented C style suspension and is complete. It is in fair condition, but will require a little attention to bring it back in to A1 condition. This beautiful pram is an original, not a reproduction and dates back to the late 60's early 70's. Although it isn't in bad condition for it's age, the wheels have signs of wear ie: they have discoloured over the years and have some rust. It comes with all the original fabrics although there are some marks on them. It has a few scuffs and the framework has scratches although it could be repainted quite easily. The inside of the pram is in good condition and has a small cream & brown flowered print, the chrome work is also in good condition. Wilson Original Bird of Paradise Pram

An absolutely stunning fully original Bird of Paradise Wilson Pram. Big and beautiful ! I bought to restore and enjoy as part of my collection but I have too many of these gorgeous prams and desperately need to downsize. The body work is near perfect off white colour and the chassis is in great condition with just a few age related chips. The interior lining is also in very good condition for its age. The wheels are amazing !!!! I simply could not believe how beautifully they cleaned up ! even the centre is bright and shiny almost mirror like ! The tyres do not need replacing either in my opinion. Obviously, it needs a new hood and apron and I can arrange for you to have this done by an absolute expert, so that it will remain as close to the original as possible. The lining can also be replaced if you feel that is your preference. The last four pics show it after its first clean with its green hood still attached, the other three pictures belong to other people who also and obviously love this pram. I borrowed these pics which I found on the web. More importantly, you get to choose the colour. It is by no means going to be a cheap project but a lot of the work has already been carried out and you will end up with a pram that is both vintage and as good as new.
