14.1 Cob Gelding rising 7, Very sad sale due to loss of grazing. Tim is a fantastic little cob with the sweetest temperament, has been ridden lead rein with my young daughter and not batted an eye. Ridden, this little cob will go far in the right hands, he has cracking paces and a fantastic jump, would easily do a round of jumps, cross country etc. He has previously done Pony Club and Riding Club and hunted also. Nicely forward going but ridden in a snaffle always and has perfect brakes! Never bucked/reared/bitten. The honest part, Tim can be pretty shy on the ground until he gets to know you, he needs to have a great one on one relationship and once he trusts you will do anything for you, he loves to be groomed and will fall asleep while being brushed. He's not too keen on the hosepipe but if you are quiet and reassuring he will be a star, same with anything new or a bit scary. Out hacking he has never put a foot wrong but needs someone to confidently push him past scary drains or bags in the road! Not silly or nasty just needs reassurance. He is currently unshod but has previously had shoes on. Will come to call in the field, and will turn out with mares or geldings no bother. He was rugged up this year over the worst part of the winter but would live out without a rug also. He has never been clipped so i don't know how he would be with clippers. He is a star with the vet and never any problems loading or travelling. He will come with full tack and rugs. He is passported and microchipped, up to date with worming and farrier. 14.1 rising 7 year old Cob for sale, Heartbreaking sale due to loss of grazing. Don't be put off by the height as he's a chunky wee thing. Blue has impeccable manners in and out of the stable, falls asleep while being groomed, you can go under his belly, behind him and he just stands there. My 6 year old daughter and her friends have stood and groomed him no bother at all. He is great with the farrier, and is currently shod but can also go barefoot. No issues worming, or with the vet. No problem picking out can be a typical cob and lean on you sometimes! Great to lead, before loss of grazing he was led through busy town centre with arctics going past and never put a foot wrong. He was rugged up this winter but could easily go unrugged, I rugged him mainly to keep him clean! He pretty much lives off fresh air but will do anything for food! he's been on hay and some carrots and apples and the occasional swede/turnip over the winter which he loves! he's great in open spaces, been ridden around big fields in walk/trot and canter, although can put the occasional excited buck in canter but nothing nasty, so for that reason not a total novice ride. Fantastic on the roads, had motorbikes, caravans, arctics and high speed trains and all sorts going past him and not been phased one bit, not silly or spooky just looks if there is something new. He has done pony club and riding club and has also hunted before. He has quite a cracking wee jump in him and I have videos on request of him jumping. Would suit a confident novice upwards, I think he would do amazing in ridden shows and at cross country etc. Very sad sale so genuine enquiries only please.
