Specially developed for the MINI R57 (Hatch), R58 (Coupe) and R59 (Convertible), this lockable rear carrier allows you to transport two bicycles on the back of the car. It can easily be attached to the towing eyelets, and the tailgate can still be opened with the rear carrier attached. Comes complete with lighting and wiring plug to simply fit into the existing electrical socket of the vehicle. Also include are 3 x locking keys. Please note your vehicle must have been specified with “Bike Rack Prep”, when ordered new. This bike rack is designed to fold flat for easy of storage Fitting is simple and can be undertaken in just 2 minutes and is a one-person job. - Pop out the 2 plastic discs in the rear bumper cover and offer up the bike rack to the holes. - The rack slides into the location holes in the rear bumper. - Using a 10mm Allen Key (supplied), screw the retaining bolts into the bumper. - Connect the bike rack electrical socket, by plugging into the to the vehicles, existing electric outlet, under the rear bumper.
