Purchased from new and only used twice, this tent is in as new condition. The tent has on both occasions used, been dry packed and always stored indoors. Its fantastic design provides very high weather residence due to its clever design. The living space is vast with more than ample standing height. Folds down and with all fixtures are stored in its own carry case.Manufacturer's Description RRP £The design of the Lokon Vario enables quick and easy flysheet first pitching and provides maximum internal living space. The frame features 4 x 12.7mm fibreglass poles sections and two steel cross poles to provide fantastic rigidity. The bedroom area of the Vario 5 features two separate (2+3) sleeping compartments and the living space is a massive 3.5 x 3.4m. There is an arched front door plus a side entrance. The living area also features a front panel which can be completely zipped out and relocated further back inside the tent to create a large porch area. There are also multiple windows to keep the living area light - essential in such a large tent. Other internal features include a cable entry point, and a fitted living area groundsheet and internal tent tidy's The flysheet is 190T fire retardant polyester with a PU coating and fully taped seams providing mm of hydrostatic head protection. Gelert Vario 6 Tent. This tent is very spacious and accommodates upto 6 people. It has a large living/dining area. Front/side access. You also have the option of having a front porch or a larger living area. The tent has been used only a handful of times. However, it does have a small rip (which could be patched) to the front door and one slightly bent pole damaged in very high wind (which you could probably replace should you want to). Although, this does not cause any problems once the tent is in use. I personally think this is a great tent - kept us dry on a torrential downpour once. I have used a library photo because are garden is not big enough to accommodate the tent to take photos! The colour of tent is a very dark green/black with orange piping. Used but still plenty of life yet. Bedrooms at one end. Sleeps 3 and 3. Separate ground sheet but has stood up to rain and wind on Haworth hill and no leaks or flooding. Sad to see it go but upgraded to a larger tent now. Four of the poles have splintered but are gaffer taped up and doesn't effect the tent at all hence the price. The living space measures a massive 380x480cm which will provide plenty of space for dining and all your extra camping furniture. Due to the large front and side windows light freely enters the living area and the 220cm head height adds to the feeling of light, airy space. Each side window has a mesh vent above and features an internal privacy cover. The living area also features a fully sewn-in groundsheet to keep the elements at bay. We have had this for 4 years, used for about 12 trips, Brilliant tent. Been in the loft for a season so we put it up in the garden at the weekend to confirm all is OK. 1 fibreglass pole split on one end - 4 spare included. I have replaced one before (they do split from time to time) but not got round to changing this. We now have a caravan and don't need the tent. Sad to see it go really. Listed elsewhere.
