12 years, grey very chunky cob gelding. Brought as a 14 hand, but I'd say slightly smaller. We brought him 12 months ago for the riding school however he is not suitable. Not nasty just to much about him for novices. Hacks alone and in company first or last, not strong or silly. Did have a scare with a quarry lorry coming past him at 60. Did nothing silly just spooked him, I'd say he has done far more off road hacking. Can go nicely in the school but is out of work and roughed off, hence price. chestnut gelding 12yr old Lovely to handle on the ground, loads and travels perfect on my small lorry, will take an offer for a quick sale as he is otherwise I will work him myself and the price will increase. Absolutely loves to jump never says no, has xc schooled and done unaffiliated show jumping would excel in any jumping home. Flat work is lovely when his mind is away from jumping. However his head has gone when jumping he was over jumped in his previous home and literally thinks that is what he is doing every day! He will never stop but he is strong into a fence and doesn’t like to be held. My plan would be to take him completely away from jumping for a few weeks and concentrate on his flat work. Bill is a forward going fun but safe sane and sensible ride. Hacks out alone or in company, will go first or last. Is ridden in a snaffle but can be a little strong at times. You could not ask for better ground manners he is a true gentleman and never uses his size against you. Bill has only ever been used as a happy hacker but could easily show if someone put the time into schooling him. Bill is also Brilliant in the heaviest traffic nothing seems to phase him. I have been riding him bareback and cantering him in open fields on his own and in company and he does not put a foot wrong. Bill loads but does worry and sweats a lot despite not moving so would benefit from some short journeys. Bill has recently had a new set of shoes but the farrier did say he should be able to go barefoot. Also recently had teeth done & been wormed & had first vaccination. The only downside to this lovely boy is that he does have sweet itch which is easily managed with a rug. Hence £ with rug saddle available by seperate negioation

I have own this boy for the last 2 years and he has taught me so much over the time I have had him, as I starting as a novice with no experience at all.Harry excel in dressage as previous owners competed with him and always place in the top 3. Ollie is a cheeky class one registered Connemara gelding aged 10 yrs who I bought recently as a novice ride. Although he is very easy to handle and quiet to ride in the field, I bought him as a safe happy hack, but he's actually quite babyish to hack especially when on his own or asked to lead. He will stop and take a little persuasion to go forward again. Can also be a bit spooky. If following he's mainly very good though. As I bought him to be a confidence given for my other ponies who don't like to lead, he is not suitable for this home so would like him to find a new home before he becomes too settled here. I think he would be better in a home that does more schooling than hacking, as he is very quiet to school, never strong or spooky just safe and borderline lazy, or at least will work with his nervousness out hacking, with a confident rider or a lead horse he won't be a problem at all. Archie is a very fun horse but unfortunately due to my work commitments he's being completely wasted in the field. Archie is great to hack alone or in company, but does go better alone with a reassuring rider. He has previously done dressage which he excelled at, showjumping where he showed scope and potential, cross country, hunting and much more, however his fitness will need to be built up a bit before he is ready to be fully immersed in that kind of work again.
