Bob the cat free to GOOD home

Bob the cat free to GOOD home

Neutered, house trained, good with other animals and children, 10 years old, micro chipped needs loving new home due to travel plans. Now the important bit, his new owner would need to prove they would be a good owner, please read below why from a cats protection article "We strongly advise against advertising pets as being 'free to a good home'. Firstly, and most worryingly, the widespread, cruel activity of illegal dog-fighting has led to a demand by these criminals for cats, kittens and small dogs to use as 'bait' in fight training. Animals offered for free are sometimes obtained by deception, through this type of advert, either in local papers or through on-line classified websites. Secondly, you have no guarantee of where they will end up, whether they will be cared for long term, or if they will end up being dumped. Apart from the high risk factor, some people who are simply after a free cat, may not have considered any other expenses such as veterinary bills and cattery fees, and might not be in a position to cover them. Giving your pet away free often means a very uncertain future for them." It's shocking reading so please only contact me if your happy to go through a rehoming process together starting I think with detailed message to why you would be a good home and we can take it from there. Sheldon the Cat - handsome, ginger, male, 4 years old - free to a good home (due to relocation).

Sheldon the Cat - handsome, ginger, male, 4 years old - free to a good home (due to relocation).

Sheldon joined us 2 years ago - but sadly, due to us relocating, he'll now need a new 'forever home'. Sheldon, 'Shelley' was named prior to coming to us. He'll be around 5 years old in the summer & has a lot of life in him yet. He has a good nature and can happily live with other pets and children. He's been used to dogs, cats, and giant pheasants where we live(!) - and hasn't worried about any of them. He's happiest when lazing about in bed or in the sun in the garden (he doesn't wander far). We're sure he'd love a cat-loving family who would give him more time than we can. Once he's used to you, he'll sit on your lap and purr contentedly. He can be a bit nervous with new people at first (just for a while) - when we first brought him home, he hid under the sofa for the most part of two days! Obviously, he gave up in the end and became a good family cat, full of character. We suspect we have a neighbour somewhere who has started feeding him treats, as he's put a little bit of weight on - and he's not been getting more from us. Unless he's suddenly become a stealthy hunter (though he can be a pretty good 'mouser' when he feels like it). He looks even better when he's not being overfed! Hopefully, you'll not have the same issue. He has been neutered and is regularly treated with Frontline Spot-on (the only flea treatment that works where we live) and is flea & worm free. He has a microchip that you'll need to have changed at the vets. If you think you'd like a Sheldon, and can give him the love he deserves, please do get in touch. He's free!

Ed the frizzle bantam cockerel free to good home

Ed the frizzle bantam cockerel free to good home

Sadly I will have to rehome my cockerel, Ed, as a nearby resident to my allotment has complained. He really isn't particularly noisy or even crows often throughout the day but sadly I have to comply with the allotment rules if I want to keep the rest of my hens. I have had him for two years and he was complete with his two girlfriends who will miss him dearly. He is a bantam but I can't remember what breed. His girlfriends are mixed Silkie so he could possibly have some Silkie however he is a beautiful frizzle so if you want some special looking bundles of fluff chicks he would be perfect. I have hatched in the past and the one chick I tried was 100% frizzle. He's not the friendliest of chaps but he is also totally non aggressive and I'm sure will look after his new girls. He's great for comedy factor anyway. Read More

Linford the Horsfield Tortoise - Free to a good home! in

Regrettably, I am looking to re-home my year old Horsfield Tortoise, Linford, as I am moving to a property that does not allow pets of any kind. His current Tortoise Table has some water damage, so he would require a new habitat to be purchased for him by his new owner (he currently has a 30" x 24" x 8" home, which I will be discarding once he has a new owner). I have a Arcadia D3 UV Basking Lamp 100W bulb and a water dish to give to his new owner. He loves Rodicio lettuce, carrot peelings and having his shell scrubbed with a toothbrush:)

2 rabbits need new home due to both their owners going away to University. Free to a good home.

Bart and Paul are 2 neutered male rabbits who are best buddies. They will be 6 in June but are in good health and very lively and enjoy a run round the garden. Ideally they need to be in their new placement before the summer holidays so that they can be settled into a new routine before their owners go off on holiday. They come free to a good home, their hutch is in good condition and would be included, and if you live less than 3 miles away you might even get rabbit sitting during Uni holidays whilst you are away. You DO need to have a secure piece of garden so that they can run round without escaping! Ad ID:

Free to a good home. Max (the dog in the blue collar) in

Free to a good home. Max (the dog in the blue collar) in

Max is between 7-8 years old now, we rescued him at a year old. He is a very affectionate and loyal dog. Very other dog friendly tends to be submissive with other dogs but sociable always excited to meet new friends. It has been a difficult decision to make but we feel like we can no longer give Max the home he deserves. He would not be suitable for families who have young children as he nips fingers and is nervous around young kids, shaking and unsettled. Children 10 years plus maybe all right. He is full of energy!! and loves his walks. As he is a working breed if he gets a scent he follows it and has been known to bring back small rodents and birds. He will drop them on command, and it it is very rare, but I would like you to know everything. Not long after we adopted him he had a limp and we had surgery performed on his right knee cap, since he has been fine, and is in good health. He is up to date with flea and wormer, but does need immunisations done. He would make a great companion and really is a lovely dog. Are you the right home for him? Please text, phone or email. If I don't answer leave a message I'll get back to you
