Beautiful design classic! Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce Italy. Due to the heavy base, the metal arch can be rotated into an S-shape (snake/serpent). This is what makes this lamp so special. The lamp is approx. 40 years old now but looks very neat, considering the age! Minimal damage to the paint, or on the lampshade. Small paint mark (see photo), but this does not stand out.Lampshade: opal-white plastic, diameter 55 cm. Base and stand: metal, painted white, height 120 cm. Light source: 1 x E27 (led possible) Because of the size and especially the weight (at least 30 kilos), I prefer not to ship this parcel. I can deliver the lamp in and around the Netherlands. The Tavolo Con Ruote (table with wheels) was designed by the Italian designer legend Gae Aulenti for Fontana Arte in . The table is inspired by an industrial trolley which was used to transport glass pieces in the factory Aulenti. Aulenti replaced the wooden support with a glass plate to create an iconic piece of Italian design. The table was made in the s and is made of a glass top of 110 x 110 and stands on 4 black industrial rubber wheels. The table is 26.5 cm high and the cut glass top is 1.5 cm thick and is fairly heavy. The wheels are removable and make the table mobile, the weight holds it in place properly. The table is in good condition and has no scratches, though there is a chip in the glass of around 1 mm at the edge of a corner, but this is barely visible.
