Fuzz Townshend is all over the place on his eponymously titled sophomore effort,and the results are decidedly mixed. There's no denying Townshend's talent. This former Pop Will Eat Itself frontman and Bentley Rhythm Ace drummer wrote and played almost everything here himself. Careening from genre to genre with aplomb,range definitely isn't the issue. At times it feels like Townshend is pushing the issue,too,though -- variety for variety's sake -- and the material here lacks focus. Townshend's influences

The Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz is a unique fuzz effects pedal that incorporates a 6-position Tweak knob letting you voice your fuzz tone the way you want it. For those that don't know, the kick is a highly versitile fuzz/overdrive with a unique texture control that can change the style of drive from old school fuzz to smooth overdrive. It is basically a bias control which controls the voltage to the diods, all the way to the left you will get very gated, almost synth like tones, to he right, saturated, smooth tones.
