Sturdy hardwood 2 seater SOFA BED with storage drawer by The Futon Company

This is a sturdy, good quality sofa bed by The Futon Company. It is made of hardwood - either birch or oak, I'm not sure which. It also has a handy storage drawer on wheels that slides out from underneath (see photos). The cover can be cleaned as it is removable. If you want a new cover, you can get them for a reasonable price on The Futon Company website in all kinds of colours. It is a 2 seater sofa, but actually it's quite spacious so I'm sure three people would be able to sit on it quite comfortably. Measurements: 148cm wide 96cm deep, which extends to 191cm when unfolded as a bed - the length of a standard double. Costs upwards of £700 new, particularly when you include the optional storage drawer and cover. I'm open to reasonable offers. We are a smoke-free, pet-free household. A unique, revolving/tilting Captain's chair, completely restored with leather seat cover brass studs, new padding and webbing. Cast iron mechanism totally original. Made in Cardiff (date unknown) the maker's in situ brass plate states 'Morgan & Co.,The Hayes, Cardiff'. I no longer have room for this lovely piece of Welsh history. I think it is probably a man's chair for its overall style and wide, deep seat. The chair also has a link to the Port of Felixstowe which is where I found it, rescued it and had it restored about 30 years ago. Please note - not on castors. Futon Company 3 seater Futon in fantastic condition. So, so, so, so comfy! It makes a great bed but is also a good sofa. This is a really substantial sofa bed. It has a strong metal frame with wooden slats which I tried to show in photo 4. The mattress is very thick and comfy, buttoned, and attaches to the frame with strong ties. It is in excellent condition with no stains or age showing. It is so easy to fold out into a good sized double bed and simple to put away. The cover is made of a thick washable linen material and is oatmeal in colour. There are 3 good cushions as the photo shows. It is a completely different kettle of fish from a foam filled IKEA sofa bed. These things cost £ on the Futon Company website. It is heavy to move. We are selling as we no longer have space for it.
