Joey! Super fun all rounder!

Joey! Stunning 16hh 8 year old dark bay thoroughbred gelding. Passported and microchipped. Great to handle, good to catch, load, travel, pick up feet, ties up (can be impatient but doesn't do anything stupid), good in a stable. Currently living out rugged up with mares and geldings. Does windsuck but controlled with a collar. He is up too weight and in great condition. Joey is 110% under saddle, hacks out alone and in company! WANTED: Genuine, fun all rounder.

I am are looking to buy a pc, rc, be, allrounder for my daughter. She is 16 and has had her own horse for the last 3 yrs. Due to his age, she is looking to move up to her next horse, ideally around 16h, between 6-12 yrs old, sane but fun to take part in all activities but in particular sj, xc/eventing. We need a horse that is sensible enough with some previous experience to help her improve as her veteran horse hasn’t been able to do to much jumping. She is a capable rider that will continue with lessons, clinics etc that would like to move up the levels sj, be but I am looking for something safe to put her on!! We are not able to spend a fortune as her older pony will stay with us but at a slower pace, however we can offer a super home, with lots of love and experience, all year turnout on a lovely yard, to be turned out with our other 2 which is open to any inspection and a reasonable budget. Mickey would make a fantastic pony club pony, he loves to jump, schools nicely on the flat and has beautiful stable manners. He will stand all day to be groomed/fussed. He has been in the same home for the last 18 months and is very sadly for sale. up to date with vaccinations, worming, farrier and dentist etc. Good to box, catch and farrier, we have never clipped him so couldn't comment on this. sad sale of my 16.1 tb gelding he has been there and done it all he excels at hunting and is outstanding in all aspects he stands at the meet will go on point excellent around the hounds will go any were in the field and jump anything you point him at sensibly. i have done gate shutting with him and got off and left him in a 20 acre field he stands and waits like a rock. i have also done some hunter trials with him he does steps,water,skinny's owl holes any thing asked of him. he is ridden in a happy mouth at all times does not pull or light up in company or on grass. he hacks alone or in company bombproof in traffic and dogs running towards him. he retired from racing sound no leg problems. he is good to clip,shoe,box,catch,bath loves to be fussed good around children and good to lead around overall a brilliant horse to do. i feel as he is a tb i dont want him going to a novice or nervous rider he does nothing wrong never bucked.reared napped or spun but does need a competent experienced rider to go and do a job with him he thrives on work genuine reason for sale as im starting to go up the grades eventing and he prefers hunting/ xc up to date with wormer,back,teeth,jabs,shoes. must be a good home no tack,loans or trials he will come with his rug Read More

Loves his jumping, very quick against the clock and can turn on a six pence, has done lots of unaffiliated show jumping and xc around BE tracks. Lots of scope to go far with a confident rider. Would be a nice dressage prospect with further schooling. He is established with flying changes, walk to canter etc. Hacks alone or in company, not had him in much traffic due to location. Ziggy 14.1hh 8 yr old Welsh D x New Forest Our lovely Ziggy is looking for a new best friend to carry on his career. His current jockey has outgrown him and he is too good to be kept as my hack pony. He is a forward going pony who has done all PC events and attended both Pony Club camps and an adult camp too. He has low competing mileage but with the correct schooling could go far. He has competed successfully in School and Pony Club show jumping teams and has done a few clear round hunter trials. He has hunted with adults and a 12 yr old boy across Dartmoor. He can be strong and likes to be up the front but he is genuinely safe. Ziggy can be hacked out in groups or alone, his current jockey has hacked out on him alone on moors and roads since he was 11 yrs old. 12.2hh 127cm Pony Club Pony All Rounder Superstar

This is an amazing Pony Club competition show jumping pony with lots of BSJA winnings. With us he has done lots of pony club including Junior Camp, mounted games, local shows, show jumping including endless rallies (working rallies, show jumping xc etc). He has been there and done it all. He moves beautifully and does a lovely dressage test. He's previously won at showing as he looks so smart. He is an absolute jumping machine and loves his job. He was clearing 70cm BSJA tracks with ease with his previous owners.(And winning!) He's forward going (not a kick along plod) but has a super soft snaffle mouth so would suit a confident rider with some experience although he has taught my son to ride from scratch and my six year old happily hacks out along the lanes and has done rallies on him too. Gorgeous 14.1hh fun all rounder mare

This gorgeous girl deserves a fantastic home with someone that wants to do a little bit of everything. Hack alone, fun rides, beach rides, low level jumping, prelim dressage. She is a great little allrounder, she is beautiful, striking and really low maintenance. You can pick her up having not ridden her for 2 weeks and she's just the same! Really easy to keep weight on, keeping weight off is the challenge! Great to shoe, can clip her without tying her up. You can load her easily on your own and she will stand all day on a box/trailer at a show. So what's the catch?! She was stamped loss of use for high level showjumping through a previous owner. She is never lame and manages a low level of everything absolutely fine she just doesn't want to jump really large fences anymore! Happy to share all information with any potential purchaser, you will never have a more honest sale. She is not suitable for a nervous rider or child as she is still a chestnut mare and can be very slightly quirky! I find her incredibly straightforward. She has been a fabulous return to riding for me following the birth of my child, and now I want to move up the BE levels which she is not suited or big enough for.
