14.2hh Pure Bred Connemara Mare

Monroe Beauty Absolutely stunning true to type 14.2hh 5yr old Connemara mare by Kippure Alkatraz. Muffin has beautiful athletic paces and a bold scopey jump, she has true to type conformation and a beautiful little head. Muffin has been broken and produced slowly over time, she is now nicely established in her walk and trot, she has a fabulous powerful canter but this still requires a little more work on the flat. Round a course of fences Muffin is brave and bold, she has a good technique over a fence which ensures that she would excel as a working hunter pony. We have also jumped Muffin over cross country fences, she happily jumps logs, barrels, tyres, hedges and goes through water. Out hacking Muffin will go alone or in company and first or last when in a group. She is stabled on a working farm so she isn't phased by tractors, lorries, buses, bikes and she stands at traffic lights/ junctions on the road. On an open field she will canter in a group without getting strong or silly, she will pull up easily and then walk after a gallop without jogging home. In my opinion Muffin is good enough to go to the top in county level workers with some more work, I would love to see her excel in this area. Alternatively she is happy enough to just go for a quiet hack once a week. She will suit a number of different riders although I wouldn't choose for her to go to a complete novice as I think she has a lot to offer.
