Please note I am selling on behalf of my father, this is located in Esher, Surrey. Single bed size, 50mm Memory foam and pocket springs. 5-part motorised frame. This bed was purchased brand new when I was setting up a downstairs bedroom for my father. However, the hospital provided a special bed that had an air mattress and this bed went into storage. The mattress has been kept covered in the upstairs bedroom, while the fully adjustable bed base was covered and moved downstairs for ease of photo’s The frame is fully adjustable at top, middle and bottom, the remote that is attached to the base controls all of the positioning. The base is 5 part adjustable, to quote from the manufacturers website it offers unique customisable support to different areas of the body which can help relieve aches and pains, promote better circulation and improved posture. The multi slats, adapt to exerted pressure offering improved back support/facilitates even distribution of pressure which can help improve blood circulation / gaps allow air to pass freely beneath the bed which keeps your mattress fresher for longer. For the mattress, the pocket springs and memory foam both promote the natural alignment of the spine and ensure that the users weight is evenly distributed, this in turn reduces the amount of strain put on the body during sleep. Pocket springs also offer an increased amount of air circulation inside the mattress to ensure a good night’s rest and a comfortable bed temperature. In addition to this, the memory foam provides pressure relief by conforming to the curves of the body which results in less tossing and turning during the night. Finally this layer of memory foam absorbs energy and pressure so the movement of others should not cause a disturbance. The mattress is covered in a soft knitted stretch fabric which incorporates Outlast technology that helps regulate body temperature. This is as new, never used, for sale. OKIMAT Adjustable small single bed Please note - THIS BED HAS A MATTRESS THAT IS 5' long and is ONLY suitable for someone who is less than 5' tall. I am selling this excellent quality adjustable bed very reluctantly because it really is an excellent bed. I have slept on it for about 4 months but have had to give in and buy a full length one because I am 5'6" and this lovely bed is obviously too small for me. The adjustable components of this bed are better than most adjustable beds because it has a very powerful motor, it not only raises at the head and the feet but also moves up and down. The bed sits 18" off the ground, very suitable for a small child to get out of bed without help. The highest point the bed raises to is 32" off the ground. This excellent feature means no more bending when attending to a child or small adult or for changing bedding. There are very solid head and foot boards which connect to the main body of the bed on which the mattress sits. The head and foot boards remain 2' high at all adjustments, giving the bed a very solid and safe feel. As there is a footboard, there is no risk of the mattress slipping when the head end of the bed is in sitting up position as can happen with a lot of adjustable beds (including the one I bought to replace this smaller bed). The mattress has taken a bit of a battering, mainly through being stored and not handled carefully. It is important that you know that I bought this bed second hand and was told that it had been stored for quite some time. However, I steam cleaned the mattress and vacuumed it and apart from small marks of make up and coffee, as illustrated, sorry! There are also a couple of small rips on the mattress but the label on the mattress has a freephone number to call if you want the mattress repaired or replaced. I haven't called the number so cannot be held responsible for any customer service from this company. The bed can also be easily converted to a cot as there are slats along each side of the bed that are easy to put up and down. There is a small hole in the wood at the headboard end of the bed but this is not noticeable once the bed is in place. I live 4 miles west of Glasgow and am not in a position to help lifting this bed so anyone collecting should consider that this is a two person job for delivery and installation. The solid look of this bed is not just a look - it really is very very heavy. I have had the bed dismantled and it is sitting in my hallway on the ground floor. As I am disabled, there are no steps in my home and my doorways are wider than normal so uplift should be very straightforward. I also have a carport so you can drive right up to my front door. I hope I have provided enough information and photographs and I welcome any questions. Because of the weight of this bed, you will require a van and two people to successfully remove this bed.
