Sylvia has come up for sale only because I am seriously short staffed and I can't give her enough time, I bought her with the intention of hunting her all this season, she has been out on hound exercise numerous times with me, she can be strong for the first part of it but we have been taking her out in a snaffle, she has hunted in Ireland a lot before coming to England, she has done some show jumping too, we have taken her do jumping and she jumped everything that was asked of her, good in water, good to catch, she is a horse that is suited to a routine as when I bough her she had been out of work as she had bucked her old owner off, he wasn't that experienced but this did happen when I got on her she tried to buck with me, I gave her a firm but fair telling off and she didn't do it again, but because she has done this I would t sell her to any nervous or novice people. With much regret I have had to make the decision to sell my gorgeous boy, through absolute no fault of his own, simply just my own personal circumstances. He is registered Irish draught grey gelding. Full green book with all breeding history recorded. Hunted 6 times in on season in Ireland, will jump anything! Hector is by far no way a novice ride, he is 16.2 and knows he's job, he is very forward, the type that does not need any leg! On the same hand is safe & genuine. The irish sports horse is currently just over 16hh, to make 16.2 clover hill lines, lightly backed walk trot canter on a hack and turned away, good to load catch travel fine with traffic not as far on as the draught though, will make an eventer/hunter. They are both currently turned out to grow abit more over winter. Lenny is a chestnut gelding and currently standing just under 16.2hh He has a great character and really enjoys having a fuss. He is easy to handle on the ground and when ridden, will hack out alone and in company. Good to catch, worm and clip. He is barefoot and trimmed regularly.
