This is an advert I was suppose to put up 20 months ago, but couldn't. I hand reared a wonderful chihuahua from birth and he was homed with such a lovely family from being a puppy, unfortunately due to pet allergies after 2 years they could no longer keep him. And they were so heartbroken to ask me if I could help them re home him. He was suppose to come to live with us temporarily till we found him the right home. But because we fall in love with him all over again, 20 months later he's still here! We think due to him not growing up with our autistic son he's always been a-little nervous to a Autism household. He's been great, but didn't really eat for a couple of weeks when he first came to us and we didn't want to unsettle him again and thought we would see how it goes. Now with circumstances changing we are needing an assistance/service dog for our disabled son we feel it's only right to find our chihuahua a better suited home. He would be better in a home with no young children. He's great with them, but I'd say he would be better going somewhere where he can form a good bond with an adult like he's so loyal to me.
