Skinnier tyres make a Frog bike easier to accelerate and hence more fun to ride much of the time. More good things about the Frog 69 Lightweight aluminium alloy frame (14 inch seat tube) and fork. Easy to use high quality Shimano Alivio Rapidfire Plus 8-speed gear shifter and Altus rear derailleur. While their competitors make do with entry level Shimano Tourney gearing, Frog hybrid bikes come with mid-range Shimano Alivio/Altus, frequently spec'd on £ adult bikes. The alloy cranks are a child-friendly short (140mm) length with 36t chainring. The sealed bottom bracket ensures these cranks spin freely. The aluminium wheels are quick release so there is no need to carry a spanner to change the inner tube The 520mm alloy handlebar is fitted with narrow grips for smaller hands. This bike has been used as a first pedal bike for our son when he was almost 4 to turning 5; he loved it and has been very fortunate as his older sister struggled with a cheap and heavy first bike which made us realise that a better quality bike does make a difference. Retails at c£240 I believe. See Frog bike website for sizing/fitting details. This bike is in good condition, including saddle, drive chain and handlebar being in very good state. The only points of note are a couple of small scratches on the frame and scrapes to the brakes when the bike has been laid down, turned upside down to get washed etc (see photos). I think I have a spare set of tyres and will update if I can find them - they are included if they appear! These bikes are great for kids - very lightweight, easy handling and excellent solid quality bikes. We are now on the next size up for my son and my daughter has the Frog 55. FROG 69 BIKE black kids bicycle

Bought 2 years ago and has now been outgrown! Great condition, but could do with a little clean up and the short metal part of the break lead (about an inch) needs de-rusting. Extra bits supplied with the bike, including the mud guards and wheel lights, are still new in packaging. I also added extender rings to the post to raise the handle bars which can be removed or adapted as needed.
