I sadly need to rehome my cat, he adopted me 2 years ago!!!! Vet says he's about 6 years old... I'm moving back to a town and it wouldn't be fair to take him.. he's lovely, dog friendly, cat friendly, neutered, big, up to date with flea and worm treatment. Beautiful Friendly & Loving Cat Free To A Good Home

Due to the arrival of a newborn baby and the fact we both travel long distances to work, we have made the hard decision to re-home our lovely cat, so that he can get the love and attention he deserves. Leo is a very friendly cat that just loves cuddles and to be with people and we are very sad to have to make this decision. He is great with children and other pets (as we have 2 dogs) however we just feel unfair on him that we can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. We would like him be re-homed to someone who will provide a safe and loving environment for him and plenty of cuddles and attention. Leo loves being outdoors so would only want to re-home to a family willing to give him the freedom he is used to; (we have a cat flap so he comes and goes as he wants) he is not a cat who would enjoy being indoors 24/7 although as above he is very cuddly when he is with people. Hello With a heavy heart, I am looking for a forever loving home for our black male cat Oscar.... but he is a big commitment! I rescued him as an abandoned 6 week old kitten March (see my profile picture, as Oscar as a kitten) He is pure black, with a small white patch on his chest and called Oscar Unfortunately he suffers from epilepsy and has been on medication (phenobarbital tablets) for it since around 8 weeks old. His seizures vary from once a month, to once every 6 months... But they only last a minute and he is back to normal then! They look worse than they are! I say he is a commitment because He has to go to the vets every 6 months to get his bloods taken, so they can check his medication levels etc and his liver and continue to get his medication.... I have had him insured with petplan since day one, so I only pay that (about £13 a month) and the yearly excess fee of £75 (which is much cheaper than paying vet fees and medication fees) I would be happy to change the name of the insurance over to the new owner, so they can continue with it if they prefer the cheaper option! He has tablets morning and night. We used to have a dog, who we unfortunately lost to cancer 2 years ago, who he got on great with and we have another cat, female. They get on fine but She mainly goes outside. Oscar is an indoor only cat, due to his seizures. He has a run around in the garden but I have to watch him incase he gets out, as he would never survive if he were to have a seizure somewhere! I have a toddler boy and have just had a newborn baby boy, so It is getting a bit much for me now, coping with a 3 year old child, a newborn baby and cats! It would be fine if Oscar was an outdoor cat but unfortunately that isn't the case and I can't give him the attention an indoor cat needs/likes. He is neutered and micro chipped and up to date on his vaccinations (booster and cat leukaemia). He is fully litter trained but recently he has started to poo on the floor (even if I frequently change the litter tray)... I think he is getting frustrated and/or jealous of the new baby in the house and not getting as much attention as he is used to because he never used to do this! Anyway.... I love him to pieces but I want him to be happy, loved and cared for and have the attention that he needs and deserves... I just can't do that at the moment, as I'm so busy with my little ones and trying to run our business from home! I understand that he is a lot to take on and it would require someone willing to have an indoor only cat. He is so loving and literally lies in your arms like a baby!
