Female Genet For Sale in Evesham
I'm very regrettably having to sell my 20 month old Female Genet called Jasmine, due to a change in personal circumstances. Jasmine was from a rejected litter so I have therefore hand reared her from 2 weeks old. Being hand reared means that she is very comfortable around people, children and has been brought up with a large Belgium Sheppard (Jacob, who is her best friend) so can be integrated with dogs after an introduction period. Even though she is incredibly friendly I would not recommend that this is the type of animal to be around small children purely as Genet's are largely arboreal so it is there nature to jump/climb (that includes up/on/from people) and they are very nervous around loud noises or quick movements and they run at speed, so although not intended can scratch and bite in play etc which small children do not understand. She is a house pet so is litter trained on paper in a litter tray how ever this is not like having a cat or any other type of pet and Genet's do have a tendency to mark their territory, also being paper trained means that all paper that she may come across is fair game and for some strange reason any cling film or anything wrapped in cling film:). she is fed mainly on a diet of chicks but varied with grass hoppers, morio worms, fruit oh and is very partial to what ever you may have on your plate at meal times, especially if it is sweet. Jasmine is very intelligent and can learn to get into/upto all sorts of things which is why she will only be homed with someone with previous experience of keeping exotic animals and all interested parties will be vetted.
