Vintage Theatre Stage Light - Furse Fresnel Lantern

Up for sale is a vintage Furse Fresnel theatre lantern in used condition. Ideal for an upcycling project, restoration or renovation project, these lights look fantastic rewired with modern lamps and set atop a tripod or hung from the ceiling as a feature piece. This light is in its used condition, having come from a theatre. It is complete with original Fresnel lens, bulb holder assembly with reflector, screw thread adjuster and yoke. The surface has become discoloured in places due to the heat from use, and the unit has some surface scratches and marks from tape. None of these would be anything a good cleaning and paint wouldn't fix. Otherwise, the unit has been stored in a dry, indoor environment since its replacement, and has been kept until now as a spare. I have four lights identical to this available, and a further two Furse profile lanterns. Price is for one; if you are interested in the others, please contact me - I would be willing to accept a deal for all the lights in one go. Please note that this light has not been PAT tested since , and is sold without a bulb. No guarantees can be made that this item is working or that the device is safe; it is being sold primarily as a vintage lighting piece for restoration. Collection only from Tooting, South London.
