Beautiful 3 seater sofa and 2 chairs in red with carved wooden frame. French louis rococo baroque antique style. I have had owned this now for over 1 year and can vouch for it being very sturdy. The cushions are slightly worn but it is over 100 years old and it just adds to the caricature of the furniture. Minor cosmetic repair required on one of the chairs as shown in the pictures. Can be fix with some contact glue. The first 3 pictures are of the sofa showing the detail carved into the wooden frame. The rest of the photos are the chairs showing the arm of one that needs the slight cosmetic repair. This is all the information I have this, they were purchased by myself from a local antique shop. Shabby chic antique French dining table and 4 chairs

This stunning antique French dining table and 4 chairs have been painted in Annie Sloan's graphite chalk paint and then protected with clear wax. The paint has had a thin coat so as the wood peeks through in places to give it the popular shabby chic look. The table top which has two extending pieces at either end and sit under the table top when not needed has been sanding back to reveal the beautiful lattice effect inlay. This has then been enhanced with dark wax to give it a natural warmth and for protection. The table legs are a beautiful Queen Anne style with scrolled feet with lovely carved detailing along each side. The chairs have been recovered in toile de jouy fabric in graphite and then finished with a dark grey trim. The chairs are also vintage and solid oak with baroque style carved detailing. This set was made in and as such it has some age related marks i haven't tried to hide these as it this that gives it is character and shows its history but it still has lots of year of use ahead.
