For use with the Movi stabilising gimbal from Freefly. Gimbal moves and follows however you move the Mimic... Very satisfying to use! I, obviously, disclaim myself from all of this too! Sounds more dramatic than it is!:) Please See features below for the newest Software Update from Freefly: High-Performance Stabilization (HiPer): Improved overall software performance with a 2x faster control-loop rate and advanced tuning configurations. This means longer lens shots are possible, and the stabilization quality of the MVI is improved %. Timelapse Mode: MVI will be able to perform automated time-lapse sequences, and pre-programmed motion paths set up via any Freefly controller or app. Target Mode: MVI can be set to lock the camera on a GPS position (requires a strong GPS signal), or to dynamically follow a MIMIC transmitter as the camera’s target. Fixes and Enhancements: An updated communications protocol, improved MIMIC support and more. Updated iOS and Android app: iOS and Android beta apps are improved and updated to match the look, feel, and functionality of the ALTA app. The MIMIC controller for MVI is moving gimbal operation away from unintuitive controllers with joysticks and knobs, and it's making the process easy enough for everyone to do it. Essentially, it's a handheld controller that you can move kinetically, and through some sort of wireless engineering magic, the gimbal follows those movements seamlessly. With this new, intuitive MVI Control method, there are no joysticks, knobs or wheels. Just tilt, pan or roll and the MVI will follow. Move the MIMIC and the MVI will follow.
