We are a non profit Organisation that takes in Unwanted Fowl, birds and furry friends. We also organise Rehomings of Ex commercial Animals, such as rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys etc. We taking reservations for OCTOBER when we will have 300 Hens, (excommercial Free Range), which will be saving from slaughter. Free garden hens for rehoming in Newton Abbot

We have seven adult hens that need rehoming. Two are Buff Orpingtons and five are Welsummers. All seven are mature ladies who were laying before they stopped for the winter. The Buff Orpingtons are particularly easy to handle. Could deliver within a reasonable distance from Chudleigh. These are free to a good home. Can provide feeders, drinkers and any remaining layers pellets and corn for free too.

We have three hens we need to find a home for as we are moving and need to dismantle their house before we go. The two brown ones are about two years old and the black one about six months older. The younger ones lay most days, the black one less frequently. The brown ones are friendly and easily handled, but the black one is warier and doesn't like being handled. Chicken House for free range hens

This is a homemade chicken house, solid construction from tanalised tongue & groove. It has a lift up roof and removable floor and perches for easy cleaning, and sloping nest boxes which can also be removed. It's bolted together so it can be completely disassembled and reassembled. It can be moved easily by one person, as it has 2 wheels and two feet, and handles on one end. The roof needs re-felting to make it completely watertight. Outside dimensions including nest boxes are 70"x 40"x 38" high. We had 8 hens in it happily, but it will hold more. It could be easily converted to a duck house by removing perches and nest box.
