I don’t come across these pianos very often but they have always proved to be excellent Pianos. The Baldwin Piano Company is an American piano brand. It was once the largest US-based manufacturer of keyboard instruments and known by the slogan, "America's Favorite Piano". It ceased most domestic production in December , moving production to China. Baldwin is currently a subsidiary of the Gibson Guitar Corporation, the largest American manufacturer of musical instruments. Free o/strung Piano - needs tuning but has a lovely tone.

I have just picked this up from my neigbour who needed to decorate their sitting room. The case is in average condition, mahogany wood and it will need tuning. On the plus side it sounds very nice. The treble is bright and the base melodic and not at all tubby sound that older pianos usually sound like. It will make a very nice beginners piano. I am offering this for free - it can be picked up in Croydon Or l can deliver it locally for £40

Beautiful old piano - free to loving home

Available here is my beautiful old Lucas & Pyne piano. This vintage piano has many extremely unique features, including the beautifully embossed felt upper panel and the rounded black keys. Many of these are indicative of its age - probably circa . The upper panel is slightly damaged as the pics show but it still oozes character. It hasn't been tuned for a while and has hardly been played and therefore once tuned would be far more useful to someone who will play it! It is available for free but if you'd like it you must come and collect it or organise collection from the Armley area of Leeds. I can recommend a couple of guys who will move it for very cheap if needs be. You'll need at least 2, preferably 4, people if you want come and collect yourself.
