Black Rock Hybrid chickens for sale. Mix of Rhode Island Red and Plymouth Barred Rock- both hardy/productive layers/ good natured. All birds have been handled, grown up on pasture and are very healthy. 4x pullets at 16 weeks old, mostly all black £ 10 each. 5x young cockerel between weeks needing good homes (not to be eaten!). Unfortuately due to a change in circumstances, we can no longer keep our chickens. They are roughly 1 year old. There are 2 ginger (a Medlesham ranger white tail and a Suffolk black tail) and 2 black and tan (1 missing from above pic). They are hybrid chickens. The white tail is especially friendly. They will all be tamed given the time and patience. They can all be handled. In the summer we get an egg from each of them but this has slowed down slightly in winter.
