This is a very solid chunky table which extends There are also six matching chairs The table is distressed pine but over the years stains on the top of the table have distressed it even more. Also there are some puppy chew marks on the chair legs and struts. However someone who is willing to sand it down and re varnish and paint it will find themselves with an extremely solid chunky table. I've tried to show in the pictures the stains on the table top.
