Beautifully made English Frank Baines dark brown Dressage saddle, with nu-buck knee rolls and seat. A very comfortable saddle that helps you to sit deep in the saddle, right at the centre of the horse. It is 17.5", Medium Wide and was for my TB x Irish Draught Eventer. It is so comfortable and the leather work is fantastic. I am only selling as I no longer have my competition horse, so I am selling all her tack and equipment. It has a few scratches as would be expected for a working saddle and at the rear of the seat, as shown in the photo is a small faded patch approc 1cm x3cm as that was where my name plate was, which you could put on your own name. It is a wonderful, well made English-crafted saddle - get yourself a bargain! I am very happy for you to come and see it before bidding if you are in the Worcestershire area.

Lovely comfortable brown leather saddle, stamped 17.5 M (17.5 inch, medium width). Purchased by me new in Nov and has only had light use. Normal marks for stirrup leathers and girth buckles. Has 3 small scuffs on the cantle, I have tried to show these in the last picture, they are hardly noticeable. This saddle has standard length flaps and has been well maintained and kept well stored in a mould free environment. Has been reflocked by a Master Saddler at the beginning of this year the flocking is smooth, soft and lump free. D to D it measures 8.5 to 9 inches as far as I can tell. The serial number is still visible and Frank Baines saddlers will happily answer any technical questions about the saddle. Other than the reflock the saddle has not been altered from new in any way.
