Industrial Shelving from French Postal Office Kitchen Storage or Hall Stand

This is a stunning s Mid Century piece of French Industrial Furniture We salvaged this piece from a post office in rural france where it was used to sort post. It is made of steel. The original shelving was narrow and although looked good was not very practical for a modern home. (Please see pictures for one of the original shelving system) This would make a perfect display unit for a collection. Can also be used as a hall stand, bathroom cabinet, kitchen unit or bookcase. The possibilities are endless. It's size make it a great desk option in a small space Total Height: adjustable 170cm-178cm (See pictures to see adjustable height feet.) Width: 63cm Total depth: 65 cm Shelving depth: 20cm Desk depth: 45cm The 3 wooden shelves are each 20cm high. We have lovingly restored this piece while retaining its original character and Patina which comes from age. We have treated the steel with a matt graphite finish which gives it a great industrial look while letting the original patina come through.
