FORD TRANSIT 2.4 RWD CAMPERVAN SPARES OR REPAIR Van been stood over winter, box wires get hotv Put battery back on other day, and van would not start,it had started up first time every time before I stored it for the winter, van would not start, checked connectors turned out it had a loose earth connection, and due to the bad earth a split/ burned cable (the small one that runs with the main electric supply to fuse box).. the glow plug supply had split so Reconnected it.. Van will start intermitantly, but fuse box wires get hot, so unsafe to drive. also no dashboard lights,indicator lights, horN, dash lights.
