5' 11" Wooden Surfboard - Stumpy Bean
I'm selling my..... RevSurfboards hollow wooden surfboard. It’s a beautiful 5’11″ x 22 ½” x 2 ¼” - Quad Fin Stumpy Bean. This versatile board is a great addition to your board quiver. Not only is it stunning to look at, but also versatile on the break. This is a great all-rounder that works wonders in knee high to head high waves. Plenty of volume yet short and squat! Suitable for experienced surfers right through to anyone wanting to make the move from a longboard, or Mini Mal, into short board territory! This board is FCS compatible quad fin setup. It comes waxed up and ready to go - with white fins (not the red ones pictured), an ‘On a Mission Eco’ tail pad (made from recycled cork) and a blue leash. The board is in great condition - no major scraps, dents or knocks. It has an epoxy skin and is made from gorgeous Western Red Cedar. It's fitted with a stainless steel vent plug that can be taken out to release any internal pressure that builds up in hot or cold conditions. Being made from natural materials this board is slightly heavier than your normal foam surfboard (weighing in at just under 9kg). You’ll notice it when carrying the board to you favourite break, but when you’re in the surf all that weight turns into momentum - it's agile and feels great under your feet. If you want to find out more, and to see how I made this board, or to follow me, have a look at 'RevSurfboards' online. If you’re in the market for a brand new board with a custom shape do give me a shout - I’m happy to build a new one to your spec from £650. I'm based near Redland in Bristol, so am very accessible via the M32 (from Jcn 19 of the M4) or M5 (Jcn 17). I'd consider shipping the board via a courier, but I'd imagine we'd be probably be talking £40 P+P. If you're interested in having it shipped, let me know and I'll look into the cost. I'm happy to take payment via PayPal or Cash on Collection. I'm making these boards, in part, to support two local charities that work with people facing poverty in the Bristol area (Bristol North West Foodbank, and also CAP). Any questions, don't hesitate to drop me a message. Happy bidding!
