Here for sale is my complete tropical aquarium. Everything working as it should and no leaks from anything. Comes with Solid Oak cabinet with underneath storage with plenty of room to house all equipment. Comes with Fluval FX6 Filter system which cost £300 when new and does an excellent job of keeping water perfect. Various air pumps also has complete light unit with 2 bulbs. As the aquarium soil in the bottom again over £100 which is perfect for growing real plants. Various sized Bogwood again over £100 in bogwood. The Tank it self is 5ft long x 64cm High x 55cm (front to back) the overall height as seen in photo is approx 160cm. Comes with a few fish left inside. Hood can be taken off easy or opened as its in 3 sections. Glass sliding lids on top of tank under hood. The tank is stunning was even better when full of plants and smaller fish shoaling around and on a night with the lights on looks great. Reason for sale is purely lost interest in it as I just dont have the time to spend on it maintaining it so inside the tank doesnt look its best. I am reluctantly (very reluctantly) selling my fish tank because I no longer have the proper time to care for it. It is a Fluval Edge 46litre retailing at £145 in Pets at Home. It has had a light upgrade at a cost of £250 to include a full spectrum LED set (for better plant growth) and an in-built timer. It has various 8hr cycles and will cycle from blue lights to the full spectrum over the course of 8 hours. I will also supply the original Light Setup should you would want to revert. A heater is also included. The tank comes with a good layer of substrate and drift wood. There are various living plants, including a large Tridant Java Fern and a small patch of Java fern at the front which I was planning to grow as a foreground carpet. Livestock: 6 Ember Tetra, 6 Neon Tetra, 1 Otocinclus, 2 Amano Shrimp, 2 Zebra Snails & (possibly)2 Red Cherry Shrimp. I say possibly because they are very shy and I haven’t seen them in a while! It has a sealed glass top which allows excellent aerial viewing. A removable cover allows direct access to the aquarium and filter. The wiring is also hidden there. In addition, I’ll include my cleaning equipment, extra carbon bags for the filter, Co2 liquid, Plant Fertiliser Fluid and Fish/Shrimp food.
