This bed can become a normal height bed and raised as your child gets older to this mid high bed with the leg extensions and even higher if you purchase the higher extensions later on. The desk is not flexa, is made of matching pine, a good size and adapted to fit this bed. Great for a small room to give extra space. Measures 100cm from floor to top of the mattress. Solid pine Flexa bed with clip on shelf and full set of instructions. This was purchased second hand and I sanded it down to remove any blemishes and then treated it with Osmo oil (child & eco friendly). One slat was spltting so we wrapped duck tape around it. That was 5 years ago and we have never had a problem with it. It's a wonderfully solid bed that can be used as a low bed or high sleeper (or mid-bed if appropriate ladder is purchased from Flexa). All instructions are present although it's very easy to put together. Bed has now been broken down for easy transportation.
