Good to lead, groom,shoe,travel and load. He will happily let you fuss him for hours. He enjoys hacking and will go in company, fine with traffic,bikes,kids and dogs, tractors,cows etc,being on a working farm he is used to all these things. He will hack alone although alone he needs a confident rider but never any badness just looks for more reassurance. Steve has been schooled in Ireland,although he is very green and needs consistency to bring him on.He has big, straight paces and will stand square and knows the basics. We have been doing pole work and some jumping. Proving bold over the jump but again is very green and can be sharp if rider loses balance We had him to his first showing show recently, and he behaved brilliantly all day, came home with a 2nd in coloured and 4th in RC horse, he had some nice compliments from the judge. Stood perfectly in the line up and behaved during lap of honour etc. Steve needs a BALANCED and CONFIDENT rider absolutely no novices/nervous riders He will go very far with the right person, he is extremely willing and a quick learner. Great opportunity to build a bond with this amazing horse that is pretty much a blank canvas,and go on to have a great partnership. I am looking for a long term home for him and in no rush to sell.
