Pretty Section A Five Year Old Mare

This is a very sad sale of our beautiful and lovable family pony. Starlight is a registered section A, five year old mare, measuring 11.1hh. She has been lovingly taken through preliminary education of lunging, long reining and has been lightly and successfully shown in hand in . She has been led at walk with my four year old daughter. This has been in the school and on walks around the lanes. She doesn't seem phased by this at all. She is not a spooky animal. When many others would shy she doesn't. She is very mature in many ways. She does listen to your voice and is very light on the lead but is forward going. She is a very trusting animal. Because she has only had experience being ridden at walk, she will need proper training to build on her experience before being taken out for rides with a child on. We have not yet worked on trot when ridden and she has been out of work for winter. We are just starting to work her again and she is happy to be back in training. Up to date with tetanus, worming and teeth. She is good with farrier and to load. She is in excellent health and is very affectionate with the whole family and all the animals; dogs, ducks, chickens & sheep. With further training, a confident and experienced leader and love she will excel in whatever she does in the future. She would be great as a driving, companion pony and with the right training would excel as a ridden pony. I have also had many hours of fun doing liberty with her because she naturally wants to follow people, so this is something she enjoys.
