World War 1 Trench Art - pair of vases made out of brass artillery shell cases which are both dated on the base. Dimensions are approx 22cms (8.5") high and diameter of 8 cms (3"). They have a crimped lower half and an attractive leaf pattern on the top half of the shells. These vases are 100 years old this year, and it's rare to find a matching pair in such an excellent condition. There are no splits and just one pin hole in one of the vases 3" from the top, so you are still able to put water in them for cut flowers. I am happy to post so please contact me for the cost of postage and package.
