I have a Victorian style marble mantlepiece with a beautiful cast iron fireplace. Bad news - the marble fireplace is broken in parts but can be mended. I think all the pieces are there but I keep finding new bits of it every day. Bad news - the Victorian fireplace has got some superficial rust on it so needs a good scrub and a tin of black plate and will be as good as before. The marble surround features a traditional design from the period, with attractive decorative corbels supporting a bevelled mantelpiece shelf. I have included a picture of what the mantlepiece and fireplace would have looked like originally and could look like again with a bit of tlc. Lovely antique Biclam No cast iron fireplace + another old fireplace

The Biclam is in very good condition. I think it could be missing some bars that go on the front? Otherwise it all seems to be there. The rusted iron grate in front of the Biclam in the pictures is from another fireplace. The other one needs some attention, but it's all there. You can collect in person, but this must be arranged quickly after sale has ended. Also, I can deliver within a 15 mile radius, but there is a small petrol charge if you do not live that close.
