This is for a pair of antique fender seat/boxes in need of restoration. They are both tatty and need a good tidy up. The leather seat covers are used and shabby. One box has the lining box for coal and the other is lined with baize for storage. The centre fender bar is no longer with them. The top of one of the boxes has come adrift and will need to be repaired and attached. Both boxes are covered in a hammered finish copper that needs some attention to bring back to its former glorious colour. The boxes can be used as they are and would sit either side of the fireplace, hearth, inglenook or wood burner. However I think they would be best restored before use. The Biclam is in very good condition. I think it could be missing some bars that go on the front? Otherwise it all seems to be there. The rusted iron grate in front of the Biclam in the pictures is from another fireplace. The other one needs some attention, but it's all there. You can collect in person, but this must be arranged quickly after sale has ended. Also, I can deliver within a 15 mile radius, but there is a small petrol charge if you do not live that close. Lovely copper/brass covered wooden fireplace fender. Brass feet on sides and centre. Very strong patina. Will need some restoration to copperwork. Antique, though will fit around modern marble hearth slab (as it did with mine). Only selling as I can't get my grandson's pushchair in the room when it's in place, so have had to relegate it to my outhouse. Probably worth far more than I'm asking, but I need the space.
