Launched in this fireball took part in Hayling Island Fed week (fast open class). It has since then been used for club racing. The construction is all GRP except the deck witch is Light weight tiger stripe marine ply, the ply is coated inside and out with epoxy resin. She is very stiff and light and in good sailable condition. The Main,jib and spinnaker are in average condition. she comes with the launching troliey and can be delivered for the cost of the diesel. Sails for Fireball dinghy inc spinnaker

Complete set of dinghy sails to suit Fireball dinghy. Consists of main, jib and spinnaker. Made by Michael Mountfield of Hayling Island. All in good condition, very crisp and no rips or tears. Have been stored for probably 20 years plus, given to me by my neighbour who built and sailed a wooden Fireball many years ago but has since scrapped the dinghy but kept the sails in his garage. Mainsail is mm Luff, mm Foot. Wooden battens included. Jib is mm Luff, mm Foot. Jib is hank on and has sheets included. Spinnaker is in really good condition, just a bit crumpled as all sails have been kept in a sail bag during storage. We have owned this boat for 5 years and had great fun in her but failing knees mean that we didn’t use her last year so, regrettably, she has to be sold. Shown in picture ghosting up to the Yacht Club slipway one evening after an enjoyable day. She has been used for family and solo sailing, not raced other than in the occasional fun regatta. She has a nice stable intermediate design: exiting but not too extreme. The PE3 hull construction is durable and needs zero maintenance other washing down after a sail. There are two useful screw-down dry hatches in which you can put your lunch, car keys etc ready for a break. She is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches on hull or topsides and comes complete with:- Galvanised road trailer + lighting board with easy piggyback launching trolley. Original RS cover which allows for the boat to be stored mast up or down. Mylar slab reefing, battened Main with roller furling Jib. Sail area 12.2m2 All blocks, sheaves, running and standing rigging in sound condition.
