Details about   Field Shelter/ Stable/ Loose Box / Shed

For sale is an old stable or field shelter or loose box, 12 foot square, in reasonable condition, I was going to cut it up for firewood but it's a fair bit too good for that, though I do still need some firewood.  It is currently assembled/up, but is coming down next weekend 22 November as I am replacing it with something bigger.  It's at least 20 years old, of pretty sturdy construction, has been used a s a shed on a concrete base. Overall the front and both sides are pretty decent condition indeed, the rear panel will need a bit of fettling (it rotted a little at the top due to a leaky gutter a few years ago) but isn't too bad at all, the roof timbers are excellent, the roofing sheets are aok but as it is onduline there is a fair chance it will not all survive being dismantled- I'll try to be careful but that material is quite fragile. The door is a bit scraggy as there are some airgun pellets embedded in it from years back.  Please note buyer must collect, I have no way of delivering this. It dismantles to 4 panels, the front is 12' wide and 7'6 high, the rear is 12' by 6'6. The lower half of the door is a few inches longer than the doorway,  I think the shed was once taller and has been shortened a little.  The reserve is set at £100, as it'll cost me that to get a load of firewood instead! Cash on collection please.

Tanalised treatment is a lifetime preservative treatment. We offer pressure treated summerhouses and other garden buildings. The preservative is forced into the timber under pressure and penetrates below the surface, whereas all other treatments apply a coat of stain to the surface of the timber only. Pressure treatment is almost colourless except for a slight green tint caused by the copper content in the preservative.
