Thule Bike Rack - Cycle Carrier - VW T4 / T5 / Mazda Bongo / Vito - Backpac 973 (similar to Fiamma)

Thule Bike rack, Backpac 973. A solid bike rack that is designed to fit vans with tailgates and other large hatchbacks. The current fitting kit is suitable for the VW T4 and T5 - I also believe this will fit the Mazda Bongo, Vito etc, but please check. I also have a different fitting kit for a large hatchback if required. This rack can carry 4 bikes, as it has the adjustable channels / trays to locate and strap down the wheels of 4 bikes - please note only 3 arms are present to secure the bikes. So if you wanted to carry 4 you can either strap 2 of the bike frames together or purchase a 4th arm. The first arm mounts to the bike rack for the 1st bike. The 2nd arm mounts to the bike rack for the 2nd bike and comes with a key to lock this against theft. The 3rd arm is stored on the frame but mounts between 2 bikes when in use. The bike rack is in good condition with general wear and tear as to be expected. I will also provide some 3M clear paint protection film that you can choose to fit before mounting the bike rack. Registered as a Campervan on V5 document so makes insurance cheaper. Downstairs rear seats fold flat to provide space for a double bed for 2 adults with the included bed frame and cushions. The rear seats also fold up to each side when not in use leaving room to take a bike/kayak or any long bulky items. The pop-top roof (which opens and closes automatically by pushing a button) is a slightly more narrow double bed area - 2 adults could fit, or easily 2 or possibly 3 children. Kitchen is at the side behind driver’s seat (2 gas hobs, sink (with electric tap).The gas bottle and water containers are stored in the cupboards below. Also has additional storage cupboard above sink and hob. There is also a double 3 pin plug socket handy for charging phones/tablets when hooked up to electric.
