It's a fantastic quality set to start you off playing the guitar. Very Hank Marvin. I've upgraded the pickups to handwound versions (traditional neck and middle and overwound bridge) and it sounds like a good strat should. Great for rock, blues, funk and country. Up for grabs is my fantastic Fender Bassbreaker 15 Combo & BB112 Extention Cab. Thought by those in the know to be the best amps Fender have put together for years. 3 gain stages from crystal clean, through nice dirt to screaming distortion. Kind of like a perfect mix of a Fender and a Marshall amp. I'll put all of the technical stuff from Fender below, but take the time to check the reviews of these amps on-line. The rest of the time I have used it in my home studio. Fantastic for recording at low volume, especially with speaker cut, cab emulation and balanced DI. Also comes with padded cover for 1x12 Combo.
