And numerous bands since such as Cast and The Las. Original hand written receipt for guitar included. See You Tube link here for newscast, as the store sadly closed shortly after this guitar was acquired. Simply beautiful - unmarked - no dings, scratches and never gigged. So clean that the only thing blemishing the photos are my hands being reflected from the guitar as I took the shots. In original Fender USA case with all hang tags and stickers intact and unused, including Fender quality check sign off. It appears to be one of the first Teles with the new 6 saddle bridge as opposed to the 3 saddle, and the newer bridge pick up. For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own. This guitar is in immaculate condition apart from the dink illusatred in the photo. It has never been outdoors or gigged and is only on its second set of strings. The Amp still has its original tag on it. Also with T- Bone pedal and all leads. It also comes in an original fender hard case.
