Fender Twin Reverb . This amp has lived a life before I bought it, and is fairly scuffed. Since I’ve had it (more than 20 years) it has hardly been used. I’ve had it serviced three times, each time with the intention of selling it afterwards, but then every time I plugged it in I couldn’t bear to! The problem is it’s way too loud for a normal room, would be more ideally suited to someone who is going to gig with it. Soon after the last service I noticed a crack in one of the speakers. I’ve looked into replacing it, or rather replace the pair. Celestion seems to be the most recommended speakers, but I’ve decided to try selling it as is in case someone out there has other opinions on the type of speaker they’d want (or have the originals reconed). Good condition amps are advertised between £850 and £900, I’ve seen a non working condition one being advertised for £550. Here is my Fender Twin Reverb serial number A-I have had this amp for over thirty years and decided to sell as its been sitting in my studio for at least ten years and not been used. I had it serviced around and i used it once to try it out after service and all working - Reverb - Tremolo - Push Pull Master. Mid 90s fender twin reverb, it's in great condition and has the foot switch The amp is from the series that had no master volume so I have had the amp converted to the "silver face" spec by having a master volume dial added. It's added on the back and can be removed should someone want if converted back however I find it a million times more practical to be able to get the valves driving without needing the volume, I'm sure my neighbours agree it's the right choice! This modification was done by strung out guitars. Receipt for work will be provided. Amp has the feet on the sides that allow it to sit in the tilted position, it's actually so much better that way. Fender Twin Reverb '65 Reissue

These amps are THE absolute boss live, just unbelievable tone and headroom with that warm sound (and touch after a good set!!). Available due to downsizing of live performance gear, this amp has been owned since new and is around 4 years old. It has been gigged and has a couple of knocks here and there, I have tried to be as honest as possible with the pictures, but happy to answer any further questions. It's in full working order, no hiss, no crackly preamp valves etc. All main power valves have been replaced with new matched FEnder Groove Tube valves from HotRox in Nottingham. The amp has also recently been PAT tested and is stickered up. Absolutely no delivery or courier. Will consider meeting halfway or dropping off for serious buyers, am based in Lancashire. Fender Oxford 12" speakers twin reverb

This Vintage Fender Twin Reverb guitar amp Serial number A has just been professionally serviced by Gee Electronics,Warrington,and is in very good working order. It has seen many gigs over its 40 plus years but has been rarely gigged in the last 15 years. I bought it new in , as you would expect it has a few superficial bumps, dents and scratches in the Tolex cover but it comes with the original Fender 12 inch speakers,it has a push/pull Master volume boost switch,voltage selection knob,plus groove tube valves, also has casters and tilt back legs for inclined positioning.Its listed output is 100 watts although I have rarely had the channel volume above 3 or 4! It is a very loud clean sounding amp, featuring the classic Fender Reverb and vibrato effects, the reverb/vibro footswitch is not included. Would need to collect in person. A Fender Twin reverb II, the circuitry developed from its original form by Paul Rivera, and as far as I'm awar the last of the US made hand wired amps (no PCB's). In nice cosmetic order, save for the odd knick in the Tolex and the grill cloth having discoloured somewhat, the amp is fully functional, with the clean channel doing everything that its meant to, rendering crisp and shimmering cleans. The Lead channel is aptly named because its not a distortion channel, there isn't a massive amount of gain available, (although I understand that there are numerous mod's that can be done to get more of it, if that's your thing, personally I really wouldn't bother). This one has had a full set (Pre and Power) of JJ valves and the pots and jacks cleaned, and sounds just as it should, the reverb is fully functional, although it gets a bit clangy over 5 or 6, but is nice below that level. With the exception of the valves everything is all original, as far as I can tell. Ad ID:
